Jodi Pfarr, National Consultant

aha! Process, Inc.

 
Jodi, of Minneapolis, MN, brings to her audiences the knowledge gained from direct experience with nonprofit organizations. Pfarr served as Executive Director of Emma Norton Services, providing housing to single women with low-income, mental illness and/or chemical dependency issues. She worked for several years for Catholic Charities supervising low-income housing units for people with men-tal illness, chronic inebriation, and/or low-incomes. This followed her post of Supervising Special Needs Shelter for the Salvation Army.

Pfarr holds her Master of Divinity degree, is formerly a certified critical debriefer for the St. Paul Police Department, and wrote the book Tactical Communication for law en-forcement. She is familiar with the police culture and the challenges officers face. She has advised several city and county agencies on projects relating to poverty issues. Pfarr has been a consultant for aha! Process since 2001.

 Hidden Rules of Class at Work provides numerous tools for supervisors and managers to communicate effectively and help understand the moti-vations of their staff. Includes tools to:

• Assess your employees' strengths based on their resources
